General Terms and Conditions

Lawyers Internet Guide.com has authorized the sales representative identified on the cover section of this application to solicit listings and/or units of advertising in accordance with these terms and conditions. By submitting this application I am requesting and agreeing with the advertising units on the cover sheet of this page and the pricing and payments that are relevant to it.

Publisher Not Bound To Publish

I understand that this application is not an agreement by Lawyers Internet Guide.com to publish my advertising and may choose not to publish my advertising. I understand that Lawyers Internet Guide.com will be bound by this application only if and when they list my advertising, and that such publication will evidence Lawyers Internet Guide.com agreement to publish my advertising on the terms set forth in this application. I also understand that if payments are not maintained my advertising can and will be canceled.

Payment For Advertising

Late Charges- I will pay all bills for advertising by the due date agreed upon. Interest shall accrue on all amounts not paid by the said due date at a rate of interest equal to the lesser of 18% per annum or the highest applicable lawful rate of interest. IN ADDITION, IF I DO NOT PAY ANY BILL WITHIN THIRTY DAYS OF THE DUE DATE AGREED UPON, LAWYERS INTERNET GUIDE.COM MAY REQUIRE ME TO PAY IMMEDIATELY ALL UNPAID AMOUNTS I OWE AND WILL OWE FOR ALL MY ADVERTISING ON ALL WEBSITES FOR THE ENTIRE TIME REMAINING IN THE CURRENT CONTRACT. Lawyers Internet Guide.com may require me to pay any collection costs and attorney’s fees incurred by Lawyers Internet Guide.com.

Restrictive Covenants and Conditional Endorsements- No acceptance of any payment or instrument marked with any restrictive covenant or other limited or conditional endorsement shall be deemed waiver of any of Lawyers Internet Guide.com’s rights under this application.

Authority- The person signing on behalf of the advertiser on the cover section of this application, or otherwise authorizing the placement of advertising, hereby certifies that he or she is either the advertiser, or that he or she has been lawfully authorized to sign this application and authorize the placement on behalf of the advertiser.

Automatic Renewal- My advertising will continue to appear in the website/websites and my application will renew automatically after expiration of the initial term on a month to month basis, subject to the provisions stated in the above paragraphs. I agree to pay Lawyers Internet Guide.com for my advertising for any additional months at the then current rates unless I cancel my advertising, or Lawyers Internet Guide.com cancels my advertising, in accordance with the below paragraph.

Cancellation- I may cancel my advertising for the initial term upon written notice to Lawyers Internet Guide.com within 14 days from the date of application.
After the initial term, I may cancel my advertising by providing written notice to Lawyers Internet Guide.com at least 60 days before the final month of my advertising.
In the event I cancel my advertising during or after the initial term, I will remain liable for the payment of all charges incurred through the final month of my advertising.

Governing Law, Venue and Arbitration
This agreement, all acts and transactions pursuant hereto, and the rights of the parties hereto shall be governed, construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of New York without regard to conflicts of law principles. In the event of a dispute under this agreement, the parties agree to summit the dispute to binding arbitration in the county of Manhattan, State of New York. The parties hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such arbitration and waive any objection to such method of dispute resolution.

Additional Disclaimers

Without limiting the general disclaimer in area above, Lawyers Internet Guide.com also does not warrant the following:
(1)That my advertising will be published or withdrawn on a particular day.
(2)That a specific number of persons will access or download the listing or any portion of the listings.
(3)That any advertising or any service ancillary thereto will be uninterrupted or error free.
